What do you get when you cross the flu, strep throat and allergies??? A sick Mommy of 9 what else. I am feeling better , I can swallow again but my body still aches some and if I stand up to fast I get light headed but otherwise I am on the mend. Thank you for all the good wishes…I haven’t gone to read all of them yet but after I take a nap I hope to go over and read them all, I just wanted to say thank you for all the good wishes.

So glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. Just take it easy so you don’t relapse. Sending good thoughts your way – and a big hug, too!

If I had my bed which is still in RI I would probably stay in it longer but this one here wasn’t made for continual use so my hips are readdy to go on strike. Thank you.

Well I gave the bathroom a good cleaning this morn and made sure to do the doorknobs as well. I’m tuckered out so I’m sitting infront of the laptop for awhile. Thanks

Well I had wrote a big answer and it kicked me out so it’s gone. My oldest is Stephanie who we left in RI and she is single and 26, graduate of WVU and if anyone knows olf a Scotsman or Irishman between the ages of 25-30 she’s wanting to settle down. I know I know but I got to try. Then there is Laska 25 and she is the mother of the 3 grandkids we are raising we also left her in RI. these two have lived with us so it’s a little lonely for me not to have an adult to talk too and cook with. Then we have miss Chelsea 23 who has a baby and lives in Texas with her dh. Then we move on to the younger 6 Liz is 17, 18 next month and has a 4.125 gpa and reads like a fish swims. Then we have DJ who is a Romeo, 15 turns 16 next month and is also a good student and plays vollyball, track and swimming. Then we have Zinnia aka “Babe” 14 and is also a braniac and reader and plays softball. Then we have Zachariah 11 who is also a good student and plays baseball and does scouts. Next is our little angel Madelynn 9 who plays softball and does her best at school, her sprecial ed teachers cried when we had to move. Then there is the baby, my Ephraim who is 5 and a wee little stinker at times. Then we have our 3 grankids ,Bianca who is 7 weeks older than my Ephraim so uncle and neice are both in Kindergarten then comes Chris who is 3 and potty training and wee little cupie doll Ariela who is 1 1/2. These 3 have lived with us since day 1 so even though I left my two oldest I still have 9 in the house.
Thanks Jennifer and I like your boys’ names.

Oh I so understand! I had it for two weeks! I then developed a case of hives, which was the after effects of the flu virus, argh! Feel better, and try to get some rest. (((HUGS)))

Take care and recover Z. You have a full plate every day and it will take a while with all that going on. I feel for you with the allergies on top of the rest. Mine can’t decide if it’s winter or spring and I have both…My husband finally decided he’ll live too so I guess both of you are on the mend 🙂
On a happy note, I skipped church this morning to go to my daughter’s first horse jumping competition. She was entered in 2 and competed in 3, thee last one she hadn’t trained for yet. She placed 2nd place in all the events!! I’m a proud Momma.
p.s. my screen name has changed it’s still me Lenna H

Congratualtions on the placings, and esp. on the one she didn’t train for. The allergies hit me a little worse than normal. Glad you are on the mend too. I’m going to go lay down as I’m getting a headache.

see that is a good start to mending. you made an attempt and at least said “thank You” for the good wishes., okay our turn now…. go get back into bed where you belong until this hectic thing goes away. hopefully you are not running a high fever, you are trying to drink plenty to cold fluids and gets some type of smoothing soup or protein in your body. scrambled eggs will help. don’t forget the vapoRub for your Chest. lets us know later how you are doing. God Bless You in Everyway of Healing and soon.

Everyone is right Zina. Get back to bed and completely recover or you’ll relapse because your immune system isn’t 100% recovered yet. We’ll wait for you. 🙂
