box ad the sheik retold

Diana Mayo is a headstrong, arrogant, and spoiled heiress.  When she insists on trekking through the Sahara she’s captured/saved by Ahmed Ben Hassan, a sheik who exceeds her in arrogance and confidence.  The strength Diana prides herself on is about to be put to the ultimate test.

Ms. Vane has a definite winner on her hands with THE SHEIK RETOLD.   This retelling is modern reader friendly possessing many of the themes and explicitness so popular in the erotica genre.  That being said THE SHEIK RETOLD is also violent, dark, and sometimes brutal in keeping with history.  It’s also a heady sensuous, albeit explosive love story about two extremely strong willed individuals. In fact, alpha male doesn’t even scratch Ahmed’s surface.

Fierce is the first word that comes to mind when I think about THE SHEIK RETOLD.  Diana, Ahmed, their love, the desert, everything has a ferocity that comes from living so close to the edge in dangerous times.  It’s thrilling and keeps the pages flying.  Sensuous and exotic THE SHEIK RETOLD delves deep into the characters of Diana Mayo, Ahmed Ben Hassan, and the motivations behind their battles for dominance.  I’ve never been a real fan of desert sheiks, or sheiks period for that matter, but the strongly defined characters pulled me in and refused to let go.

If you grew up reading or have ever enjoyed the “bodice rippers” of the eighties you’re going to love THE SHEIK RETOLD.
